UGC NET Phase 2 Exam Postponed

 

The new dates for the UGC NET Phase 2 exam are the 20th through the 30th of September in 2022. This change accommodates the combined December 2021 and June 2022 testing cycles. Alongside the Phase 2 subject examinations, the NTA will also be administering the UGC NET in the languages of Telugu and Marathi. Initially, the UGC NET Phase 2 exam postponed was supposed to take place on August 12, 13, and 14.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will administer the UGC-NET test for December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) between September 20 and 30 as part of a new arrangement announced by UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar on Monday. The UGC Chairman shared this news. Earlier, it was planned for the phase two examinations to take place on August 12, 13, and 14 of this year.

In October 2022, the final Phase II examination of the UGC-NET will be conducted, incorporating 64 subjects from June 2021 and December 2022 (Merged Cycles). A statement from Kumar’s office stated that the exam would consist of 64 issues (including Telugu and Marathi, which were postponed because the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana had their examinations on July 09 2022, and 15 subjects where the study was not possible).

In addition, Kumar said that the NTA’s website would reveal the city of the examination centre on September 11, and UGC NET admit cards will be available for download between September 16 and 19 on the NTA website (urgent.nta.nic.in). Additionally, Kumar announced that the UGC NET exam would take place on October 01. You will need to provide your registration number and date of birth when you log in to the NTA website to get you to admit card for the UGC NET.

Further, the UGC chairman cautioned applicants against putting all their faith in scams circulating on social media. He advised them to check the NTA website often for the latest information regarding the UGC NET 2022 exam (ugcnet.nta.nic.in). 

How to Download UGC NET Phase 2 Admit Card 2022?

Candidates will get their Admit Cards from NTA if all qualifying requirements are met. However this is not a guarantee. The procedure of downloading the NTA UGC NET 2022 Admit Card may be broken down into the following steps:

  • Step 1: Candidates are required to visit the official website of the NTA UGC NET, which can be found at urgent.nta.nic.in. 
  • Step 2: Once you have done so, click the link labelled “View Admit Card.”
  • Step 3: A new tab or window will appear, and the Registered Candidates must sign in.
  • Step 4: Provide the requested information, including your Application Number, Date of Birth, and the Captcha Code.
  • Step 5: Download the Admit Card, then make a hard copy of it for your records. This completes Step 5 of the process.

UGC NET Admit Card Download 2022

A passport-size picture must be attached to the candidate’s Admit Card, and a second passport-size photograph must be affixed to the attendance sheet. A print copy of the admit card should be in excellent shape before the test date, and the back of the card should include all of the instructions.

On September 16, 2022, the admission card for Phase 2 of the NTA UGC NET will be available to applicants. In addition, on September 11, 2022, the link to the UGC NET exam city intimation will be made available to candidates. Using their login information, candidates can download their admit cards and verify the location of the examination.
